Foster Parent Stories

Several of our foster parents wanted to share their story as to how they became a foster parent or what it's like to be one. Every story is different but all of them show how they "found their heart".

Helen Nicholson "...After my husband died and I retired, my children were grown, I decided that maybe it was time to help some of these children, I suppose to make up for not helping that child so many years ago. Foster care is not always easy but if you keep telling yourself these children need you, you make it through another day and then another."
